Learn how participation in Quality Clinical Data Registries (QCDRs), like the ImageGuide Registry, can help physicians succeed under the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) program. Beginning January 1, 2017, CMS implemented MIPS, a new quality program through which payment adjustments are based on evidence-based quality data specific to a clinician’s practice. Eligible professionals must report on 50% of their patients in order to qualify for a bonus payment and to avoid penalties on all Medicare receivables in 2019.
