The session will provide an overview of the importance of reporting a myocardial perfusion SPECT study accurately and in compliance with the guidelines. The use of structured data, structured reporting and the important role they play in registries will be discussed. At the conclusion of the activity the learner should be able to:

1. Identify the and understand the different guidelines that have been used to facilitate myocardial perfusion SPECT reporting
2. Understand the implementation of the guidelines in clinical [practice regarding reporting a myocardial perfusion SPECT study
3. Implement structured data and reporting in everyday practice in their clinical settings
4. Understand the importance of structured reporting in registry participation, such as ASNC's ImageGuide registry.
